All about the lycée

GUIST’HAU :
I’M LOVIN’ IT !

8 hours a day, 6 days a week, and 36 weeks a year: Guist’hau is our second home!

At first, we’re going to explain why we spend most of our lives in the “lycée”.

The timetable:

As you can see, we have very long days of work.
Moreover, we’ve just one hour to eat. But, we have
Various subjects every day (and during the year,
We can choose options for next year). It’s tiring
but, fortunately, holidays come back every 6 weeks!

 The work:

Every day, after a hard day of work, we must do
our homework, which is difficult because we’re
tired, so we can’t concentrate.
Moreover, we have a lot of tests every week.

The teachers:

Like you, we’ve one teacher for each subject,
which is fantastic when we don’t like one of them.
But, the way they teach us is privileged: there’s a lot
of exchange between students and teachers.

Luckily, our “lycée” isn’t just a working place, this is also a place of relaxation (otherwise, it would be too boring!).

The “self”: the place where we eat. It is
very useful when we haven’t the time to
come back home.

The “CDI”: the place where we can read,

search for information, or just do our home-work

The “verrière”: the place where we can do whatever we want.

The “foyer”: the place of relaxation, where we play and listen to music, watch tv…

This is an example of one our yards.

The “internat”: the home of boarding students who can't go back home to sleep.

UNSS is a sport club which proposes different sports for students (volley, swimming…).
